I think we'll all get different daily results from each other  (something to do with the algorithms?) 
But I believe the end result will be that we'll all eventually reach the stage of just needing 1 egg in every section - keeps us all interested and constantly visiting their site. 
And then a lucky few may get that elusive final egg...!!

My experience with previous hunts is that I've either won something in the first couple of days, usually 10p, or ended up one away from everything.

I’m bored now. Getting birds few and far between but only PDEs like everyone after the initial flurry I just need one more egg!

It is possible to get 1 away every time they play this type of game, sometimes it takes more searching than others but actually getting 1 away is not really random. If you need 1 to win you will get a PDE unless (possibly based on a winning moments mechanism) the system has selected that time to allow a winner - with only 90 larger prizes and with at least tens of thousands of players the chances are fairly slim.
