If the link opens in a browser (chrome on my mobile)  you need to tap "use the app" text that'll appear at the bottom of the screen. *sometimes* you can do it from the browser but I've no idea when/how it happens. I.e.

Hi Abbafan1972 I've never been able to do that on the laptop, but if you've got an iPad you'll be able to do it on there as well as on your phone
