Advice on changing job halfway through a house purchase?

So I know changing job before completion is a major red flag and I need to inform the lender of this etc etc, but my situation is a bit tricky and just wondering if anyone has anecdotal advice.
I currently work 2 jobs, one is 20hr/wk at a national supermarket and the other is 10hr/wk in the NHS (admin).
My NHS manager has just informed me that there is an admin position available for 20hr/week which in the first instance is 3 months fixed term to cover prolonged sick leave, but she suspects this is going to be permanent (but from the way the NHS is funded and works they obviously cannot give a permanent contract when someone hasn't opted to resign due to illness and there is not funding for this). She also said if this doesn't end up being permanent in two months there is an admin post in a different dept (but which I am fully trained in) going to be advertised which is 20hr/wk, and strongly suggests I apply for it. I would rather work the fixed term role as it is simply extending my current contract (it is a desk mate so does exact same role), not working in a different centre and more sociable hours.
I greatly want to move to the NHS full time and this is the opportunity I've been waiting for for nearly a year so i can leave my sueprmarker job, but I am worried about the fact that I will most likely complete before any permanent position is offered to me, but too late to apply for the role.
I thought about contacting the lender sepculatively but I really don't want to jeopardise my mortgage if they think I am being untruthful.
To add info, my husband is on £44k and I am in total on £17k, my current supermarket role gets 10k/annum which is the job I am considering leaving. The amount borrowed totals £208k.

Hopefully you are using a broker, in which case talk to them first, as it really does depend on just how tight the affordability calculation works out to be if they have to remove the £10k from the supermarket job from the calculation...Presumably you can still keep your existing 10 hours a week with the NHS even if you take the new NHS job?0

Personally I would not risk it and instead would target the other admin job in two months (hopefully after completion).0

I guess that's life though, I will definitely contact my broker on Monday to have an informal chat I just for some reason am scared of it going against me. 🤷0 -
