Linking Paypal to Prolific Surveys

Good Evening all,
I joined Prolific a few weeks back, and have enough for a £5 payout, but when I tried to link my Paypal account, it just kept coming up with an orange triangle and says it is having issues?
The Paypal I'm trying to link is a business account, so could this be the problem?
I do have a personal account, but this also has my paypal credit account tied to it, which is in arrears as I'm trying to get it to default before starting my DMP, so I was unsure if I should carry on and use that one as I have removed all links with my banks and cards.
In either case, neither of these Paypal accounts have the same email address registered to them as my Prolific email address. Could this be the conflict with the one I'm trying to link? (The business one).

Why not open up a PayPal account with the email address you use for prolific?I'm a Forum Ambassador on the housing, mortgages, student & coronavirus Boards, money saving boards. Too be honest, I wasn't sure what the rules were with Paypal, and how many accounts you could have. I presumed just one personal account was allowed. Can you have more?

You can have one personal and one business PayPal account.0

Youy can add other email addresses to your personal paypal account.I currently have 3 different ones as used for specific survey sites when I signed up to them a long time ago.Not sure if the same for business accounts as i don't have it.
Assume that you need to have the same email as you are using on the sites you are claiming from on your paypal account.2 -
On and off over the past few weeks there have been recurring issues between Prolific and Paypal so it's not just you.
I use my regular email address and a business Paypal account, both of which I've had for years. It might just be a case of popping back on to check whether the issues have been resolved. You can check to see if the accounts are linked by checking your profile, but I'm guessing you've already done that.1 -
