Dropped kerb.

Sutton Council has refused a dropped kerb . Can I get compensation? Maybe a reduction in Council Tax?
The houses on either side have a dropped kerb. A tree was planted badly many years ago. The tree is Not on the border of the two properties. A lamp post is 10 feet from the tree on the boundary. It is a complete Non Compliance. Can you advise?

The council tax would be set without a dropped kerb so why would a reduction be due?0
