Hi guys,

Quick question:

Got quote under 14k for 20 x 405 w panels (10 facing east, 10 facing west), 5 kw lux power hybrid inverter and Givenergy batteries (9kwh)

Is ESE reputable. (at extent) or should I run away?

Also I have Got Otovo quote for same size PV, but 2 x 3.6 kw growatt inverters (one east one west) and 4 Pylontech batteries

And this comes for very similar price

I wonder which is better ESE group or Otovo?

You asked a question, you're simply being given the facts.

fair enough. I did not go with them in the end.

But not because of some old case, especially for activities from 2017 to 2021, which in reality somewhat different from those letters they sent to existing panel owners. This was/is completely irrelevant to the things I was looking to buy/..

Obviously, when buying new panels you check more than 1 quote - theirs was very competitive for good kit. just a bit cheaper that other one I have (and few others were significantly more expensive)

the reason I did not go with them was that they:
    1. have only flexi-orb certification and not MCS (although claiming to get MCS "soon"
    2. they ask 1000 gbp deposit while the company I went with asking for payment after delivery and installation.
other than that I see no issues with them, really.
