Hi
Was hoping for some reassurance. My partner submitted a mortgage application on the 24/2. They have asked several times for documents which we have provided each time through the mortgage broker. We now a valuation was done on the property we are trying to buy on the 16/3. My partner has never missed a mortgage payment and has a decent credit score. But they keep asking why I am not on the application. Due to several reasons we just wanted to keep it the way we have on the mortgage we have. Does anyone know the time frame or any incline of what their decision will be? I'm stressing out so much. The mortgage that we are asking for is also £17k less than what our current mortgage is.Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

Your broker should be able to advise of aldermore’s service levels as to when to expect a response and to chase them up if they exceed the specified timeframe.I can’t see an issue, but they’ll want you to sign an occupiers consent form which waivers your right of occupation if Aldermore have to repossess the property0
