Tax returns

HI, I have got very behind with submitting my tax returns (4 years not done) I work as a carpenter and since COVID i have worked for others who have pad the tax on my behalf and the invoices always show this. I have nearly got all the figures together for the last four years worth of returns to submit. But i wanted to ask advise about if i should start with the first one 2018-2019 or the most recent 2021-2022? Also i am of no fixed address as i go where the work is and then stay with family on their sofas etc.. can i buy the PO box for communication purposes on my tax return. Due to a lot of other debt no family member will allow me to use their address, which i understandable.

As far as it goes it doesn't matter what order you do them in - though you may be looking at paying a penalty if you're submitting returns 4 or 5 years late. For the years you were employed on a PAYE basis they should be easy to complete, just take the figures directly from your P60.Any debts you have would in no way affect a family member if you were to use their address as a correspondence address - debts are linked to an individual, not an address. But if they're reluctant to let you use their address then yes, you could use a PO box. Or if you have an accountant then it's pretty common for a small business to use their accountant's address for correspondence.1

Submit the paperwork as soon as you can for each of them. You can file all one after the other if you want.It doesn't matter which order but be aware there will be late filing penalties to pay.Do you use an address for invoices?Do you have access to your SA account and what is the address on that?If you have an accountant, you could always ask if you can use their address for correspondence.May you find your sister soon Helli.
