If it contains a reference you recognise, then no.1

What does the text say? I'd be very wary of clicking on any links, even if it does cite a genuine account number that you had. A clue as to the contents of the text may help us to give a bit more informed advice.

It’s genuine. Just browse directly to the link in the text to read the full details. It’s a soa letter on everyday loan website, I don’t have permission to share the link. The text contains your old customer reference number. They are providing legal notification, not asking for any info.1

Looks genuine. I have briefly read it, but it looks like it is about non affordability loans prior to 2021. Nothing needs to be done, but they may be in touch again re compensation. They are going through the court as can't afford full compensation so seeking a 'Scheme of arrangement' so will basically pay out less to those who are eligible.1

Hi, I would proceed with caution because hackers and scammers can easily get hold of all of your personal and financial details, even past financial agreements and reference numbers - initially asking for nothing but lulling you into a false sense of security (pun intended).
I hate it when businesses send me texts - if they're genuine I just think they are very lazy communicators and if they are not genuine well, we know what happens.
If it were me I'd block and delete. Because if they need you to do anything, they will write to you, hopefully by post and not email (something else I don't like, although I do acknowledge that legitimate businesses do that now). I'd never click on any link in a text or email I wasn't sure about. If anyone really does want me, it really can't be so urgent that a letter can't be sent.
These are obviously just my own thoughts and opinions but I really do have a hard time trusting anyone since scammers these days are very clever and knowledgeable. Especially when it comes to text messages that don't actually tell you anything new. It's a way to gain your trust. But most of the senders are not to be trusted. In my experience.
