Yes Car Credit & PPI

Hello Forum Guru's.

A few years ago, in a desperate measure, I foolishly took out a Car Loan with 'YES' Car credit. (was less than six years ago)
The money was loaned to me by Welcome Finance.

Although I have lost the actual credit agreement, I am 'reasonably' sure I paid Insurance, which was way over the top.

'YES' car credit have since gone belly up, but can I still claim back my PPI?
and if so, should I send a letter to Welcome Finance?

thanks a million for any advice

yes, the lender is the one to go for. Yes car Credit were acting as a broker in arranging the finance deal but the insurance arrangements are invariably provided by the lender and their own arrangements with a third party insurance provider.
I am a former Broker, former IFA and former compliance officer, for my sins.

However, I have since seen the light.
