Pension Advice

Hi All
I've worked for the NHS for 38 years. On my 60th birthday (a few months ago) I took my 1995 pension, and I was given my 2015 pension (contributed for 2 years).
My pension was closed as I couldn't pay any more in as I retired and returned.
As you may be aware, I can re-renrol back onto the 2015 pension as of 1st April 2023.
On returning to work, I reduced my working hours from 34 per week to 32 per week.
My question is, if I do decide to rejoin onto the 2015 pension, are there any special rules such as abatement or tax rules I should be aware of?
FYI - I'm in band 2, there are no promotions or any more extra hours/overtime. I'm hoping to work for the next 3 to 5 years so unsure whether it's worth rejoining and paying in to, so would appreciate any advice.
Thanks

Generally the advice would be that its always better to be paying in to the NHS scheme especially for older readers.
I sense you know quite a lot about the schemes - but at a basic HMRC level joining a pension scheme shouldn't be a big deal.
If your question is more based on the specifics of the NHS scheme then you will need to wait for a scheme expert to come along. There are a few on these boards.
Good luckI think I saw you in an ice cream parlour

Smiling and waving and looking so fine1
