I'm looking to boost income I have a fully kitted out home office and I'm good with computers, any legit suggestions are welcome!

Also, I'm considering a second job (I've earned around £8k in this tax year due to extensive illness), would have an 2nd job affect the tax/nino on the first one do I have to tell them? (I work a temp agency, minimum wage full time hours weekday job I can't do nights as I don't drive).

Thanks for your input.

A second, third or fourth job doesn't affect NI paid in any other.  Each employment is considered separately for NI.

Tax is related to all your income in the tax year.  If you were working for a second employer, they should ask you to complete a new starter form where you could indicate that you were working for another business.

If you work for a temp agency as one of their workers it would basically be a zero hours contract.  They can't stop you earning money in a different job and I cannot see you need tell them.  (Unless , perhaps, you were doing driving jobs where your total driving hours could be restricted.)

Having office accommodation at home with computer capability doesn't mean you have space to set up in the beauty industry.  I don't think I would want to expend money on training or kitting out my home for such precarious self-employment.
