Nationwide DIP accept

Hi all, FTB here, only a few days in and already stressed to the eyeballs.
I got my DIP with nationwide and had an offer accepted on a house on Tues eve. Eagerly called Nationwide on Weds morn to progress my application, she went through my details with me and said ‘oh it’s gone to head office, you’ll get a decision within 3 days’. Anyway she booked me an appointment with MA for this coming Monday.
I have been reading this forum for hours looking for anyone this has happened to but I can’t find anything similar.
I didn’t receive an email today so I called and spoke to a lovely lady who was very reassuring and said it’s nothing to worry about. She sent me an email saying DIP - Accept. She said the full application will go through on Monday and it just means it will be looked at by a person instead of automated process.
No real point to this post other than I’m bricking it!

When this happens with nationwide, there is normally a reason for it in my experience.
Thats not to say its a problem, I have seen everything from messages on CIFAS reports to dodgy applicants, to having had a pay rise and declared pay not matching up with YTD figures held by HMRC. It could be anything that does not tally up with information they have pulled from other sources.

When I called to apply the lady really questioned me on my £0 childcare costs. This is correct. Also my low travel costs - I work from home and drive to sainsburys once a week 😂1

If anyone ever has the same in the future I am SO excited to say I’ve had my mortgage offer today 😁
20/03 - Full application - provided payslips to prove annual bonus and last 3 months payslips
21/03 - Valuation
30/03 - Mortgage offer for full amount requested. Happy days!! 🎉1 -

So now the fun and stress begins 🙃
You have been offered a mortgage from one of the big lenders at hopefully a reasonable rate.
Surveys, solicitors ( hopefully local firm you have found who are on the Nationwide panel and NOT one recommended by the estate agents !)
The buying process can take months so 😎 chill
Good luck and I hope its plain sailing1
