That is not your only job at this stage. Hopefully you haven't missed the more important point that I advised you to go and read about and are all over your WS and evidence bundle.

Thanks Coupon-Mad, no I have not ignored your other point. I have been working on my statement and it needs to be submitted with the evidence by the 14/12/2024. Fingers crossed I can nail it all

Usually, the deadline date for WS submission is 14 days prior to the hearing date.  That would mean a hearing on 28/12 (which is a Saturday - won't happen), then you're straight in to the New Year week. 

Is that a date given to you by the Court, or one you've had to calculate yourself?

Just a heads up for you to double check your dates please. 

It's the date given on the Notice of Allocation. The Court date is the 15/01/2025

I have a question, I've pretty much completed my witness statement and there was something that I spotted under my own investigation. Does anyone have a case reference to insufficient signage on a site?

Insufficient signage is fundamental in every case. You don't need an authority.

Good morning, 
I was set to have my Trial Date tomorrow but I have had a notice of discontinuance from their legal team.

I think the deciding factor was that under the Customer Licence Agreement signed by the Management Agents it states that:

“Where a Parking Charge Notice (PCN) has been requested to be cancelled, this must be done by an Authorised member of Management in writing”.

I highlighted this with the Management Agents and claimed they were practising Maladministration and that they have neglected their Duty of Care. This was sent to the director who signed the Customer Licence Agreement.

I have just e-mailed the court with a copy of the notice and requested that they confirm they have received it and that the case is closed

I called the legal firm and they've confirmed that the case is closed and that they have been contacting the courts to make sure that the hearings are cancelled.

Just had an e-mail from the court confirming that claim had been discontinued. Winner!!!!!
