I had 6 defaults on my credit file. 4 have dropped off, 1 remains till 2025.
One of the 4 that dropped off was from Cabot Financial, I had a bit of a situation with them and eventually they sent me a letter, which I have kept, to say they have decided to close the account and it will drop off my report on the 28th February 2023. For a week I just had the one default.
Now I've just checked my credit report on clear score to see that they had added it back with disputed.
It doesn't appear on MSE credit club but that doesn't update till the 8th April and it's not on credit karma, sorry I know it's Equifax, Experian and TransUnion but I can't remember which does what, so should I be worried about it.
Can they do that, adding it back with disputed?
I'm not bothered, I think I'm annoyed more than anything. They haven't been the easiest to deal with but which dca is.

It did go but then today I looked on clearscore and it said 'disputed'. The only reason I looked at it was because a few days ago it had a note in the 'upcoming in your next report' and it said it was Cabot Financial.sourcrates said:Should have gone by now then, query it with the CRA.
I have sent a message to clearscore but it's just weird that it disappeared then reappeared with the disputed tag.
