Sneaky Marks and Spencer pricing, including Dine In

In the Bletchley M&S, they have misleading pricing regarding their food deals. Some of the individual items in a deal are priced higher than where they are in their own place on the shelves. A couple of weeks ago, ham hocks were priced at £8.50 in a deal, but if you went round to where they were also on display in the fridge on their own, they were a pound cheaper.
Also today, in the Dine for £12 offer, they have some beef and Stilton parcels - priced at £10 in the offer. If you go round to where they normally are, they are priced at £15. It is a larger size, but they are making a smaller version for the offer. They look identical, it's not until you turn the box over that you read that there is a 100g difference.
So although you think you may be getting a bargain, the saving you are getting is misleading and not what it says on the receipt and in reality.
I did email M&S Customer Services about their pricing two or three weeks ago but I never got a response!

To be fair, most supermarkets are guilty of this at times. You do have to watch these "meal-deal" type of offers as - as you've discovered - it may not always be the bargain you anticipate. But there's nothing illegal about it, you need to do your own due diligence. As a slight aside, and since this is MSE ...EllieDog101 said:A couple of weeks ago, ham hocks were priced at £8.50 in a deal, but if you went round to where they were also on display in the fridge on their own, they were a pound cheaper.

So the £10 beef parcel is 100g smaller than the £15 one, sounds like the larger one is the issue, not worth £5 to only get 100g more!3
