How does Supercuts work?

I last used them about 25 years ago and it was a walk-up service.

I assume they do the same thing now, but they seem to have an online check-in these days.  (Which sounds good, because back in the day they would just tell you to come back in two hours each time you went to the desk.)

However, their website explains nothing about how it works.

Can anyone who has used Supercuts recently enlighten me please?

    It depends how busy the salon is.  I normally walk in and wait. I don't need an appointment

    Thanks, I went a couple of weeks ago.  So for anyone who comes across this thread wondering the same thing I was, here's how it works.

    * There are no appointments.
    * You walk in and if they are busy they take your name and put you in a queue

    OR

    * You join the queue online (go to their website)

    Either way:

    * They send you a text when it's your turn
    * Then you go to the store and get your hair cut

    I didn't want to try the queuing system because I had no idea what I was doing, so I just showed up first thing in the morning and was seen straightaway by a stylist.  I asked her how the queuing system worked, and she told me the above info :)
