Wrong address on small claims court submission

Hello
I filed a small claims court claim last week, however I have noticed that the address is slightly wrong (One digit wrong) and the name of the company has a dot in between two letters. The rest of the claim is correct. Please can you let me know if I can change this after its been sent to the defendant or if it will cause problems going forwards with my claim.
Thank you so much for any help you can provide.

No, once filed its not able to be changed.

I doubt what you say will be much of a bar to service of the claim.

The wrong building number or postcode (OP didnt say where the digit is) certainly could... if they've sent it to 915 High Street rather than 115 High Street its very possible a) the address doesnt exist so its returned to sender or b) if it does exist the recipient just throws it away rather than try and find who the recipient was supposed to be

Yea there is that possibility, but local post people usually know where slightly mis-spelt addresses are.

If what you say occurs, the OP just obtains judgement by default, so its of no real consequence if the address is 100% correct or not.

If its returned as non-delivered I dont think it would.

If its delivered to the wrong address and they dont pass it on in some way then yes a default judgement could be gained as no defense will be filed but its an easy one to get set aside once the company becomes aware of it.
