Morning
Hugs to those that want/need them, those who are poorly and those who are looking after a poorly person x
Happy birthday to those with a birthday x
Very damp blowy and chilly start to the day.
DH and DS1 getting ready for work, I'm showered, dressed and enjoying my first cuppa and my porridge whilst on here. DS2 settled and happy.
Lunch yesterday was a snack and dinner was beef stew and dumplings, mash and veg. Tonight not sure what we'll be eating but will find something I'm sure.
Back to work we'll see how things have been left.
Keep safe and well x

Good morning, thanks for starting NMLC. Hope work goes ok for you. It's damp and windy here as well, yesterday wasn't a bad day, we had some sunshine. We weren't out at all, I did household jobs and Dh washed the car. This morning, I'm meeting a friend at Do*bies, there are only two of us left now in the Do*bies gang after 2 friends died within a fortnight of each other towards the end of last year. It's pleasant enough there and convenient for both of us, just a short bus ride for me.Hope everyone else has as good day as they can today, take care folks.13

Morning All
Well, the fine dry weather has now left and we have had torrential rain all night and it's still going. Oh well, it was good while it lasted!
Well done Coxy, great achievement.
Enjoy your coffee out Scarlett.
After swimming yesterday saw a trip to Costco with my neighbours, I filled up with petrol and seemed to buy stuff for others although I did get a long body warmer for myself, the shelf price said £23 but it went through the till at £12 so I swiftly left!
Spoke to all three children on the phone yesterday and then my brother phoned so a busy evening. I was going to watch the pottery final but it was on too late so will catch up tonight.
Hope everyone is well, happy Monday, take care. XX12 -
Morning all. What a wet and windy night and now its dreary outside. I was very tired yesterday, got up late but was very droopy all day so went to bed early. Of course, once I was in bed I became wide awake again. Not that it lasted long, I was another who couldn't stay up for the Pottery final, I'll watch it this morning.Today I have an appointment for an X-ray of my hips first thing then I'll do a bit of shopping.Hugs to our poorlies. Happy Monday to all.12

Morning everyone thank you all for the birthday wishes I had some lovely gifts and of course a lovely week in Northumberland we were so lucky with the weather not a flake of snow and some lovely walks in the bright sunshine we couldn’t believe how bad it was when we got home the place had been practically cut off Thursday and Friday we struggled to get out of the car when we parked up and the yard was full of snow but it rained most of the day yesterday and all night so most of it is gone now . I am going to meet my friend for a coffee never seen her for a couple of weeks so plenty to catch up on well done Coxy on your weight loss I’m on a mission now I spoilt myself last week although I walked plenty but not enough to burn off what I ate I have give myself a target I joined on the 11 th September and I want all my weight gone for this September it’s doable but I’ve got to stay on track I’m not at work until 12 on the count down one year to go talk about wishing your life away I have tried to read along but I’ve got a memory like a sieve I hope everyone who is having problems and not feeling so well everything comes good . Thinking of all the poorlies hugs to those that need them have a good day everyone whatever you are doing11

Morning folks and thanks NMLC. We had a blustery and wet night and this morning there are just odd pockets of snow left. Please, no more this winter! It feels much milder too so no heating on for the first time in ages.
I had a lovely birthday meal with family yesterday and everyone agreed their food was delicious. But boy did I suffer at bedtime with heartburn keeping me awake. Maybe it was the Prosecco or maybe the food but I finally managed to get to sleep and then slept in a bit this morning.
I suppose I had better do a few jobs today but I still feel half asleep. Have a good day folks if you can and ((HUGS)) for our poorlies, getting better and MIA. Take care all be safe xx

Morning all
Dry and bright here for now but more rain due later, two ladies coming today and one of them wants to make a scrap book with info about horses so we are going to go to a local town and look in the charity shops for a book on horses, then come home and start a scrap book, should be nice if the rain holds off !
Fahitas for dinner tonight nice and quick and easy, I have put a wash on this morning but it will have to stay indoors.
Coxy well done on reaching target that fantastic 😀
I need to have a quick hoover through before my guests come but otherwise all clean and tidy.
Have good days all and take care xxx12 -

Morning everyone
Very wet and windy here this morning. DD treated me to lunch yesterday which was lovely. We went to the local Indian - chosen by little one ! She was on her best behaviour and tucked into everything she was given. The food was really nice, a set menu for just under £10 each.
When I came home I had a lazy afternoon with my paper.
Today I have work at lunchtime, I'll probably get the bus down unless the weather calms down a bit.
Better go and get some jobs done. Hope everyone has a good day x

Morning all, thanks nmlc for starting. I've been awake since 5, the torrential rain woke me. Hope I can manage a nap later. We were shattered last night after a full on day following the DGC footballing exploits. DGD's team were asked to meet at 10.40 for 11 kick off, it was about 10 miles away. Got there and the opposition had 3 players there! Some more drifted in dribs and drabs- 1 of our parents went to chat to their parents & they'd only had a text at 10.40 to say the game was on! Eventually started at 1/2 11 but that meant DGD had to get a lift back with her friend's Mum & Dad as we had to get DGS over to one of his academy games. Congestion on the motorway due to an accident as well, but made it just in time.I was very glad I had bought the chicken roast & could just bung everything in the oven
Ruby ours was delish too.Plenty chicken left and I've already made soup with the bones and lots of veg.I'll have that for my lunches, and perhaps just do chips with the chicken tonight.
Good to see you posting JackieO. Glad you enjoyed your holiday Izzy, and CarolB.Hope everyone has a good day x:heartsmil 'A woman is like a teabag: You never know her strength until you drop her in hot water'. (Eleanor Roosevelt)12
