in Cutting tax
My mum saw my 'payslip' (if you can call it that) from a couple of weeks ago, and she said that she thinks I am paying too much income tax... so now I'm a bit worried that I am.
I get paid every couple of weeks, no fortnight is ever the same, as I work different hours each week.
The payslip Mum saw, I earned £467.60. From this, I paid £29.36 NI, and £47.80 Income Tax.
My most recent payslip shows I earned £559.59, and I have paid £39.48 N.I. and £68.14 I.T.
My tax code is (I assume) 522L.
Does this seem about right? If not - what do I need to do from here?
