Remortgaging with personal loan

Hi,
Quick question: we took out a personal loan to pay for our extension. We’re looking to remortgage in November and I was wondering if lenders are willing to “overlook” the personal loan for affordability purposes if we promise (and provide evidence) that the loan will be paid off as soon as the funds are released.
Basically, we want to transfer that loan to our mortgage instead. Is that even a thing or am I talking non-sense?
Thanks!
