My mother made a quilt for my brother out of denim squares from our jeans. She made large patches and had ragged seams. She left some of the pockets in also.3

I've made several of these bags https://makeitindenim.guru/tutorials/classic-hobo-bag/
(I made one for myself and then several friends asked where I got it from and asked if I would make them one too)

i used to make hobo bags out of my kids old jeans and give them to charity shops to sell ... but only made them with non-stretchy denim - i find the cheap stretchy jeans loose their shape very quickly as the stretchy stuff degrades fairly quickly. with the top of the jeans as the main body of the bag, lengths from the legs for straps, bit of spare fabric from my fabric stash to line and a cheap scarf from a charity shop in the belt hoops and tied in a bow. Not made any for a few years now, but the charity shop i gave them to sold them for about £3.5 - £4 ...wading through the treacle of life!
