New car- Help what should I do?????

well I bottled out of phoning garage, hubby has done it. He told them that they are to "stick it" if we can't drive it away tomorrow. We are getting full tank of petrol, they are paying overlap on insurance, as we had to pay to cover the car we were selling as we believed we were getting new car last fri, new stereo face plate as we want to put our decent cd player in rather than the rubbish there was in the car. She has offered another car to borrow but we still have the car we are selling until Fri, so not actually an issue yet, I was just trying to use a sob story with them as I told them it would leave me & babies stranded in village without car. What has annoyed me though is that I e-mailed manager on Mon with list of issues & he still hasn't replied, so unless he is on holiday and nobody is checking e-mails, it's highlighted their lack of customer service

if it's right for you and the price is in line with what you think it is worth then go for it. Whilst buying nearly new obviously has benefits(and I had previously bought nearly new or 2/3 year old cars before) this time, I got the car I had been looking at purchasing second hand, at a price cheaper than what the same dealer was selling their second hand year old models at outside, except I got the engine size I wanted, in the colour I wanted with the trim level and extras I wanted(and also was achieved by using dealer finance which people also tend to try and suggest staying away from) I had the finance for 4 weeks, paid no interest and only £150 in redemption charges(same as if I had seen out the full 3 years) and even got a nice letter from GM finance saying how glad they were to have had my business and it would be there pleasure if they could help again in future...suckers!;).

well i've had anapologetic e-mail from manager now & we will be getting mats as well- hadn't even got as far as asking for them, but anyway hopefully will have new car this time tomorrow

yeah, car was sorted, new mats, will fit stereo & face plate, full tank of petrol.
they were hopeless though! i got a call today to pay remainder of balance as they forgot about it last week, nevermind, at least we've got the thing now.
