Loan - hard search question!
Hey all,
Myself & my partner are financially linked as far as credit is concerned due to a mortgage etc.
I am applying for a personal loan for just me, will they do a hard search that will show on his credit report or just mine?

I’m curious to know what will show on his credit if I apply for this loan or if nothing will be notified to his☺️

I think it depends on the lender as you’ve a linked associations they may take their history into account
I don’t believe they’d do a hard search on their profile though, perhaps a soft search I’m not too sure.
I’d advise seen as you have an agreement together mind you do let them know if you get a loan personally I’d suggest that anyway.0
