EG Group discount card

HI,
My son works in KFC which is owned by EG Group who also own ASDA. My son was given an EG Group discount card to use at ASDA. I cant figure out how to use it online. I have seen other discussions on how to use them if you are an ASDA employee, but my son insists he doesn't have a Walmart number so I cant use the card in the same way ASDA staff use it.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
