Success with reclaiming tax on PPI

I would like to say a massive thank you for the very helpful advice on reclaiming this tax from HMRC.  I had a message from my PPI agent about reclaiming and when I checked on the link they wanted to take a huge 50% for acting for me.  I followed your advice step by step and have to say how easy it was to claim through HMRC online form R40.  Luckily I had kept all the paperwork which gave details of the payout from the ombudsman.  I just entered it all in the boxes where you advised and bingo!   A week later I have just had confirmation that HMRC will be sending me a cheque (do they really still use cheques!?) for the total amount of £621.  I am over the moon and wanted to let you know how much you helped.  Thank you.
