Ready to get an AIP…

Hello!

I’ve found a house I want to make an offer for, been told to get a standard AIP to prove I can borrow it enough.

Joint income - £71k
Hire purchase - £101
no credit card debt

House price - £163k
Ltv will be 90%

only issue is that I had a default from a credit card from 3rd Feb 2017, so this has now been removed from credit reference agencies, for statutory ones dated 1st march.

I’m worried about applying to a certain lender for the AIP too soon with it just coming off my reports.

Does anyone know the best lender to get an AIP from which would use the latest version of my credit report and not outdated versions… I’m avoiding Barclays as they were the bank i defaulted with.

Anyone had any experience with this when they applied when a default dropped off and how long they waited or any brokers have any idea of when they would usually suggest waiting before applying for an AIP after this?
