I'd much rather have the 10% discount on own brand products, than 4p back per pound spent.

Half the problem I have with Boots points is that you can’t part pay using points. I have over £100 saved on my card now but unless I spend it on random little shops I can’t get anything decent with it.

What is the normal level of your spend at Boots?  Do you always want to spend more than £100?

That was probably phrased wrong on my part, tbf! I mean that I prefer to use my points on a big purchase like an electrical beauty item, which would be a couple of hundred quid but I wouldn’t buy otherwise.

Points do expire, please check your expiry date before you lose the lot of them!

Points don't expire as such, not using the card expires the points after 12 months of non use.

I agree.  My most common purchase from Boots is own-brand vitamins and medications followed by contact lens solutions.
