Morning
Hugs to those that want/need them, those who are poorly and those who are looking after a poorly person x
Happy birthday to those with a birthday x
Very dark damp chilly start to the day.
DH and DS1 getting ready for work, I'm showered, dressed and enjoying my first cuppa and my porridge whilst on here. DS2 settled and happy.
Dinner last night was gammon, egg, chips/salad, tonight will be use up of what's in the fridge.
Keep safe and well x

Morning All
Thanks for the start nmlc.
Very cold this morning, had to put the heating on for half an hour. I have a towel wash in the WM but I think it can stay inside today although I think we're to miss the snow thank goodness.
Great to hear from you Marie.
Slow down Nelski! You seem to have been busy since you've been home. Hope you get the house issues sorted.
Fantastic fundraising Coxy.
Glad you're enjoying the time with your family Gers.
I've been on the bus to work a couple of times this week but as I'm only 10 minutes into the route the bus is freezing! Back to the car today as I've a couple of places to visit after work.
Hope everyone is coping with the cold spell, take care. XX12 -
Morning Everyone
Thanks for the start nmlc.
Very cold this morning and we have snow. Heating is on.
Stay warm.11 -
Morning all, well the snow fell till about 6pm last night, it's still lying but now frozen too and there are icicles hanging off the patio table. We may have more snow today and the sky still looks full of it. I'm up early as I had a headache, but I don't know if I just needed a drink so I'm sitting in front of the fire nursing a cup of tea, I may need a nana nap later.
Today I want to do some baking as there is some very soft fruit in the bowl and I found some ready made puff pastry in the freezer, a marriage made heaven maybe, we'll see how I feel later. The casserole went down a treat yesterday, probably because I didn't make it, my chef did 😂 We haven't decided what to have today but there is leftover casserole or I may freeze it.
Take care if you have to go out today. Hugs to the poorly ones, the MIA's and anyone feeling down.

Morning folks and thanks NMLC. Snow here overnight too and forecast to turn heavy shortly and we can expect up to 16 inches with significant disruption.. That means us up here will be isolated for a few days. We are atop the steepest hill up from town and our bus is always the first to be knocked off with no post or deliveries either. Oh I hate the blooming stuff. And I will be worrying about family getting stranded in it too.
My bus buddy and I managed a snow free day in Skipton yesterday but blimey it was cold. Very few stallholders had set up but the sweetie man, bless him, was selling his wares. My tin is now stocked up again! We had a nice lunch and much talking was done as usual.
DD dropped me off 5 avocados yesterday!! She had got them in a Too Good To Go bag from Morries and they don't like them. I doubt I will get through them all before they are soft and soggy but will do my best. I once bought a bag of frozen ones and didn't enjoy them so freezing them is not an option!
The usual Thursday chores await after two days gallivanting and dining out. Such excitement. Have a good day all if you can and ((HUGS)) for our poorlies or getting better. Take care one and all and be safe, especially if you are bombarded with heavy snow. I am going nowhere! xx"If you dream alone it will remain just a dream. But if we all dream together it will become reality"11 -
Good morning everyone and thanks for the start nmlc x
The snow has gone and we now have rain and general misogg. I am attending a funeral at lunchtime - the young lad from my youth club/DHs Scouts. It's in a church and I really hope it's not a burial
Good that you got out to knitting @meanmarie - I've not heard that phrase before!
Happy baking @nannywindow x
Good job you have a well stocked freezer @TravellingAbuela if you won't be able to get out. Enjoy the avocados!
DH got to Birmingham okay last night and gave me 3 rings!! He is in Telford today and back to Birmingham for tomorrow, then home. I think the midlands have the worst of the weather today. Told him to take a blanket for the car "just in case" but did he listen - No! Men!
Stay safe and warm everyone and if you're venturing out in the snow, please take care.

Good morning, thanks for starting NMLC.There's quite a bit of snow here, my young Dgcs will be delighted, their mother less so I imagine!I didn't get to post yesterday, I meant to do it mid morning and forgot.Ruby, happy birthday, sorry it's belated, hope you enjoyed it.Bella, I've never tried eels, I wouldn't know how to prepare them. Thinking about it, I don't know even if I've ever seen one, in the flesh as you might say, just on tv.Nelski, sorry to hear you've got plumbing problems, hope it's nothing major.Great to see you posting Marie,Gers, I'm glad you're enjoying visiting the family, pity about the meal.Didn't do much here yesterday, Dh was busy putting new door handles on upstairs, they look really nice. There are no particular plans for today. It's our wedding anniversary, we might have a lunch out just in our town.Hope everyone has a good day, stay safe and warm folks.13

No snow here 😩 just relentless rain which is set in for the day and it’s very foggy a truly miserable day !I am off to collect my private client today and take him to work, we will stop in at the shop on the way home, he has coffin Lowry syndrome and autism so routines are very important to him and shopping is now part of our day along with a bag of sweets 😀
Sausages for dinner tonight not my favourite but OH loves them, I will do some mash and veg with them and a nice thick gravy.
Marie it’s so nice to see you posting xx
Take care everyone who has snow stay safe and warm xxHave good days all xxx12 -

Morning
Snowing lots here now luckily I am not planning any wild adventures outdoor.
Very pleased with the two lads who came to clean my lounge carpet yesterday. They worked so hard and did a really good job. Next time I buy a new carpet it will not be cream I'm too messy.
Today I have a small Asda order arriving assuming they can get the van out. Still not doing the best food wise in fact last night I opted for a Muckdonalds delivery......ooooh the shame. Lost some weight lately so I can get away with some indulgence but my bank account won't like it for long.
Tonight I will try the bacon and eggs again......absolutely no delivery
Have a good day all and if you get the chance slide down a snowy hill on a tray or build a snowman xx12
