Full and Finals from Link and Credit Security

My biggest debts are currently to Link and Credit Security limited. I may be coming into some money soon, and I hope to use it to pay off some of my debts. The thing is it will only cover about 50 percent, so I was wondering if anyone has had any success with full and finals from either Link or Credit Security?

Link are notoriously difficult.
Are these consumer credit act debts?
Do a formal cca request on them first to see if you can strengthen your position.

Yes, consumer credit act debts. I'll give the CCA requests a go but the debts are only around 6 years old so not hopeful on that score. Thanks.fatbelly said:Link are notoriously difficult.

In this kind of situation, where funds are limited, it pays to have a plan formulated to, lets say, make your creditors more agreeable to accepting your offers.
For example, the cost of living is rising, so you may have to reduce or stop your payments altogether, you have other more essential debts that need addressing that are a higher priority to theirs, anything that can strengthen your hand, use to your advantage.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the Debt free wannabe, Credit file and ratings, and Bankruptcy and living with it boards.
