Hi!
I’m in a lucky enough position that I have been gifted performance related shares by employer that vest after X amount of time. I would like to sell a portion of these shares (approx £10,000) and am confused as to the tax I would be required to pay if I was to sell them.
I’m in a lucky enough position that I have been gifted performance related shares by employer that vest after X amount of time. I would like to sell a portion of these shares (approx £10,000) and am confused as to the tax I would be required to pay if I was to sell them.
Can anyone provide any clarity? I’m aware that CGT allowances are reducing in the next tax year so conscious that selling now might be the most effective.
