Trainers 'faulty' after ~2 months

I phoned TKMaxx this morning and they gave me a reference no. and told me to take it to a store and ask for an assessment. I did and after trying to be fobbed off with credit I got a full refund.People's imagination seems to have run riot a bit on the trainers and my gym activities. The Adidas 'workout' trainers were discounted from about £90 as far as I can remember so a decent price level imho. The use they got was 20-30 occasions of : walking to/from my car (about 10m), walking to/from the gym to my car (50m) , then a low intensity aerobic workout walking on treadmill/ bike/ cross trainer, lifting very light weights (seated) and stretching/pull ups on a mat plus walking to/from shower. ie nothing that had any serious stress on the trainers - I'm 74yo and 10 st so not trying to become superman.1

A good outcome for you. (And with a bit of extra info in your original post our imagination wouldn't have run riot)
