Pension Drawdown Processing Time

I am fairly newly retired (almost one year). I'm with Standard Life and it took 3 phone calls each about 45 minutes to set up my flexible drawdown. It then took about 6 weeks before i finally started getting my money. On the 1st Feb I requested a tax free lump and was told it would take 10-15 days to arrive in my account.…

Thanks all, I phoned them and complained about the length of time. They said they were waiting for an LTA check which had been done and while I stayed on the line they put me through to someone in the drawdown team who comitted to making my payment happen today and the money will be in my account this afternoon. We'll see.
