Nationwide Mortgage Valuation - Deed of Variation

Hi,
Just wondering if anyone has had this before and what was your outcome? Our valuation for our mortgage by Nationwide came back as unsuitable due to the lease referring to it as a first floor flat, not mentioning the loft conversion. It seems the loft conversion was all above board, but the lease never updated to reflect it. We have requested a deed of variation for this from the sellers solicitor and have gone back to Nationwide to ask if this will be acceptable for the valuation/survey to move forward to mortgage offer, but they won't give us answer for another 6 days.
Anyone had this situation and did it work out?
