I have cooked some beef in the slow cooked and when I took it out the absorbent pad was still on the bottom, Will it still be ok to eat, The meat came from Sainsbubs but I cannot find out what the pads are made of Help..

If the pad is in one piece and not in bits it will be absolutely fine. Chuck the pad in the bin and enjoy the beef. Dont give it another thought.4

I've done something similar.
Given what you've said, I'd eat it.0 -
Think about using a roasting bag or tin foil, they touch the food and we throw them away. It cant be anything that would cause harm next to the meat. Otherwise it wouldn't be used. You wont be the first or last to accidentally keep the absorbent pad on the meat.

My hubby has done this several times when cooking meat and we have still eat it.21k savings no debt1

Reminds me of the "old days" when chickens arrived with the innards in a poly bag stuffed inside the carcass, goodness knows how many were roasted complete with those still inside
