Remortgage agreed with Skipton... need to switch to full mortgage application for new property

I have this week got approval for a remortgage from Skipton on my current property as I thought I could not move to a new property because of a snag in agreeing on a mortgage.
Long story short a broker I was working with in January just came back to me and said he can sort out the new mortgage with Skipton as well.
I have not signed anything regarding the remortgage. My question is will that hinder the new application in any way?
