NatWest Mortgage Application Timescale

I'm currently in the middle of a rollercoaster of a house move. Had buyers pull out etc but hopefully all sorted on that side of things now.
I've currently got a NatWest mortgage due to end in June. The mortgage broker put in an application to NatWest for a new mortgage last Thursday and the same day had a hard search added to my credit report. I have not yet heard back so I'm panicking a little due to all the ups and down I've already had with selling and buying a new property.
Has anyone else recently applied for a NatWest mortgage? And if so, how quickly was the turnaround?
With Experian, my credit score is excellent but on Equifax for some reason not as good (around half)
