New car finance
Options
Hi, I ordered a new car last year and it should arrive at the dealership next week. I was wondering if it’s possible to change the deal as they have now offer 0% finance whereas when I went it was 5%. I did sign a couple of documents but can’t find them. Thanks

You could withdraw from the finance but would need to reapply.
If declined, you're still going to need to find a way to pay for the car.0 -
I would emmmm ask the dealership if they have handled the finance.0

As above- Ask the Dealer if you can switch deals, however keep in mind that it's the overall deal cost that counts not just the interest rate. 0% finance may mean other parts of the deal are less attractive.0

Well, given that you've been waiting since last year, it wouldn't hurt to ask the dealer. A similar thing happened to me when I was in the middle of buying a car on PCP from my local Toyota dealer. A better offer came up just after I'd signed the deal for one car and they allowed me to swap. Although I have to say that at first the finance director said he didn't think it would be possible. (Didn't want to have to adjust the paperwork, I think). I talked them round and they retained a happy customer, so it was a win/win.
If you can't find the documents, ask them to send you copies via email. The dealer sent me both printed by post and electronic copies. But in my case they did agree to the swap and you might find you can swap too. Do stress the point that you've been waiting since last year for the car. (Illustrates loyalty.)
You only have to ask. I'm on first name terms with the folk down at Toyota now - not sure whether that's a good thing or not! Please note - taken from the Forum Rules and amended for my own personal use (with thanks) : It is up to you to investigate, check, double-check and check yet again before you make any decisions or take any action based on any information you glean from any of my posts.
