In October last year it was said they were processing mail from the previous November.  Have you tried phoning ?  Contacting your MP could be the best option if phoning fails.

Thanks Molerat. Based on previous experience we have not tried telephoning HMRC, as it takes for ever to be answered! However, this morning we sent an online complaint to HMRC which has at least been automatically acknowledged. Judging by the comments in today's Daily Mail (10/01/24) Money Mail pages it appears we are not alone in experiencing these very long delays.
