Thanks, Just had a look at Fidelity and it seems the charges are 0.35% service fee, plus fund fees of 0.27%.Albermarle said:

But i think for me the managed fund is the way to go. Maybe i will stick with a guard and revert back to the non advised service and DIY again ?!0 -

The service fee is 0.35% - fund fees depends on what fund you buy of course.
As usual with investment platform charging, it gets more complicated than that . If you have a big enough amount on the platform, the fee drops to 0.2% . If you only invest in shares/ETF's/IT's the platform cost is capped at £90.

Flat fee platforms usually work out cheaper for larger amounts, although they charge more for SIPPs than for ISA's . Interactive Investor is the most well known, but Iweb is even cheaper.
Also Fidelity, Iweb and II offer a much wider range of investments than Vanguard.

Yes, you are right. The fees i quoted from Fidelity were based on a) my current pension size (the service fee), and b) an example of a Fidelity fund I might invest in (fund fee) - based on their Navigator tool.

I’ll go back and try to find the SIPP calculator I used previously to figure out the platform fees on the various providers, and then make another decision on what to do this time.
