Quidco account frozen

I have been using Quidco about 2 years. Days ago, my account got temporarily frozen and I was asked to provide photo ID as such. They require the picture of drive license, passport this type, which I found way too essential and private.
I have expressed my concern about security and privacy issues, and it seems they won't take no for an answer. The whole thing is a bit ridiculous in my opinion. I had successfully transferred the cashback earned to my PayPal account in the past.. But this time it is merely £30 to be redeemed as supermarket gift card, they brought up this ID nonsense. They said they ask for the ID, as I did not register my bank details in the first place. But I did choose PayPal as the way of payout, so what's fuss about?
I am still in negotiation with them, to see if they can accept other photogenic cards or bank statement instead. If refused, how should I do?
Is there any legal action I can take?
I still have some pending funds in the account, I'd say after the cashback are confirmed, I will have around £300 to £380 -ish of money there.
Therefore closing the account is not an option to me.
Thanks.

Why not just send them the photo ID that they require? I certainly would rather do that than a bank statement which you suggested although that wouldn’t be good enough if they require a photo.I had to do it on my Morrisons account as they froze it because I was buying cigarettes every week. I screenshot my passport, use my apple pen to mask the number and sent it across no problem.I’m a Senior Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on Competitions Time, Shopping & Freebies boards, Employment, Jobseeking & Training boards If you need any help on these boards, do let me know. Coz it's way too private. I believe the customer service is also outsourced elsewhere(email received during UK midnight). I just have doubts in uploading this type information. I had been asked for passport, ID to be scanned in the physical stores of some brands, for example, Louis Vuitton. This was OK as it's done in the store, and I trusted the brand.

As above, you have two choices, comply with their request or have your account closed.
