Cheep Easter Eggs

Sorry if I've missed it, is there a thread for Easter eggs?
I want to stock up for family coming over from America who are missing their Cadburys fix. And no doubt try a few myself along the way....

  • Morrisons seems to be the best so far this year.  Last week they had the small ones on offer for 75p (sorry, you missed that, but it might come back?)

This week the medium ones are £1.99 (Cadbury, Mars and Thorntons).  Some of them are also £2 in Sainsbury's if that's more convenient for you.

Just over 5 weeks to go now. Tempus fugit and all that!

So much to read, so little time.

Tesco also seem to have lots on offer at £2 - the 200g-ish ones usually with two bars. Same size as the ones for £2 in Sainsbury's. The same ones are 4 for £10 in Asda. Seems like they're all doing the same sized ones on special at the same time!

I just checked the prices online, you don't need to be an online shopper to get the prices.

If there is a smallish Easter egg going cheap at Aldi after Easter I shall get one, otherwise it will be our usual economy dark chocolate 100g, to share for our weekly sweet ration, a Sunday treat.
Easter eggs are really overpriced and have too much packaging, and I shall never buy Lindt again after they killed the Lidl Easter Bunnies.

I’ve read this thread as new posts arrived but just noticed the title OP is that deliberate or an Easter joke ?

The Card Factory Happy Easter Egg Hunt Bag only had ingredients and allergy warnings in Polish, they contain milk, peanuts and soya. You can return them to the store. For anyone who doesn't want to click.

I walked to Home Bargains on my lunch break today and they had some large Easter eggs for £1.99 that are currently £3 in Tesco and the medium KitKat eggs were only £0.79. They also had some of the larger KitKat and Yorkie Incredible eggs for £4.99, these are currently £10 in Supermarkets. I wasn't going to bother buying any this year especially at the price Supermarkets are charging if you don't catch them when on offer, you get more chocolate with a bar. I got a couple from here though.

I noticed today that they had some reduced prices. The small Rolo ones were 79p

Lidl had some good 2 for £2 deals on the medium eggs (if you want 2): Cadburys mini eggs egg, aero bubbles
