Hi Ballymoney, starting the AVCs at 5% is brilliant (I started with 2% and the 1% match when that was offered then increased them slowly over the 7 years).

I started just doing the match. This is what prompted me to look at saving more for retirement and starting to seriously consider retiring early. I am now putting 25% into the investment builder.1
