in Cutting tax
Hello
my ex wife and I are selling our marital home. She has lived there for approx 6 years with our children and I have lived in shared accommodation (to allow her to stay there)
will i have to pay capital gains tax on my share of the equity?
if so how much?

You may .
There is just too little information provided to even hazard a guess. New rules came into play in June 2022.
When did you separate?
When did you cease living there?
How much interest in the property did you retain after the divorce settlement? When was it bought and for how much?
What will it sell for and when is this likely to occur?0 -
