Accord mortgage application

Hi,

I was wondering whether anyone could help me, I have recently had a AIP from accord mortgages, accord have completed checks and it has gone to the underwriter who are fine about the credit scores / finances, however they want an explanation of why my partner defaulted on a card in 2019 and Lowell took over this debt for just £100.
Will this effect my chances of getting completely accepted with accord? Should I be worried? Our mortgages broker ahs told us not to worry as the underwriter has accepted it, however it is not showing up as a hard search on my credit report.
Any advice would be great. Thanks!

Accord have been great with us.
I have a really back credit report due to a previous relationship and he stopped paying the mortgage for 6 months after I moved out, even though he was living there - this was only at the end of 2020.
they have a common sense underwriting process and asked for some information and we got accepted. 

Don’t get me wrong it’s been stressful but they have been amazing through out.
we get our keys in 2 days!

2 days ago, just waiting now but the broker said not to worry

I applied via a broker on Monday, valuation booked for next monday (27th)
Lender asked for some older payslip and old p60 yesterday (im a new contractor, 12months history, no credit issues) so sent some today.
Got everything crossed. Hate this waiting!!

Update: Valuation requested today, still waiting on a the underwriters to come back with a  decision however.

Update, after a stressful two weeks and multiple documents been requested, mortgage offer has been issued!
