My husband is having dealings with CSA.He has actully got an appeal which is complele shock, as we had a call last week saying the baylifts were coming round !! :mad:

I just wanted to ask, he has been told about shared care, we knew nothing about that is 104 day a year? But do you get a discount if its less? In the recent months his ex has realsied about the shared care & stopped the kids sleeping over night on a fri& sat just so my hubby wont get a discount....No comment on that!

We have just received all my hubby Date procection information electronic print out....My god there is loads&so many mistakes

I would advise all of you to ask for this it take 40 day to ture up but well worth it! The CSA have messed my husband payments up from 2004 to now even though they have it in Black and white of every call& letter sent to them about his change of circumstances from my hubby. My hubby knows he does have to pay some arresrs but not the £13,000 that they are asking for .

We used to until a few months ago have kids every weekend, we take them on hol regularly, he buy anything the kids needs, used to pay ex cash direct, but she denied that too. she used th kids as a wepon & tells then all sorts .

My hubby is a great dad but ex make thing so difficult for him and is money mad!

Which system is the case on? If it is an old CS1 case then the shared care kicks in at 104 nights per year and no, if it is less there will be no discount. If however, the case was opened after March 2003 and is a CS2 case then the nights is 52 per year.

It may be too late ... but does he keep any proof of having the kids. Unfortunately, many PWC's don't even consider their children(s) feelings for the sake of a few extra quid a week.

I am sure that you might get somewhere if you explain to the CSA what is going on ... I am sure they deal with that old chestnut all the time. It might be time to thinking about getting a court order for contact, the courts look down at people like his ex for that kind of, what is effectively, abuse.

I do feel sorry for my step kids ther being put right in the middle, my husband is seeking legal advice about her behaviour among other things to.The ex has such a influnce on her kids they starting to believe what there mum is telling them. I found out a few months ago the EX told her 12 year old, if I told them off when they were at my house for her daughter to HEADBUTT me! What kind of exampal is that setting?!

We are getting proof up together how often the kids stay, he is on the old system. Or should I say what kind of bloody system

I know many absent father who do not want anything to do with there own kids and yet CSA do nothing, yet my hubby is not an absent father he does as much possible for his kids yet still he is being penalised.

Well, that is the behaviour of a women who feels threatened by you ... very insecure, so look at it as a plus point for you!

It maybe about time to ask legal advice about contact orders. As your step-child is twelve, the courts will now take their opinion into account.

Its the honest ones who are easy targets.
