    Something not right with your dates or figures there, if he reached SP age in April 2016 he should not have any post 2016 contributions.
    If reaching SP age in 2016 unfortunately he is one of the technically "unlucky" ones being one of the first new pension retirees so no chance of post 2016 top ups.  He has in excess of 35 pre 2016 years so no chance of any top ups from there either even if there were gaps. He is currently getting all he is entitled to which is the same as he would have got reaching SP a week earlier.
  • Just realised he didn't make any post 2016 contributions, he just carried on working! 🙄
