I had exactly the same request (my transfer was also from II), and today I got a reminder to send it despite me posting it to the address they proivided on the 14th of Jan. I used this opportunity to send them a scan I made of the completed form prior to putting it in the envelope. Hopefully this will suffice because it all feels a bit 1980's to be honest!easysaver said:Freetrade SIPP
The SIPP has been added to the basic account as of today. It's administered by Gaudi / Platform One like the now defunct X-O SIPP.
I opened a SIPP and initiated a transfer in from II only to be asked to print and sign a form because "your current provider doesn't use an electronic transfer platform for this type of pension plan." I was a bit surprised given I thought II were a fairly big player.
I'm also moving a S&S ISA to Freetrade from Vanguard, and this seems to be progressing without the need for me to dust off my quill and get my sealing wax out first!

FWIW I requested a full in specie transfer but to not sell investments that they couldn't bring across. All of my holdings are listed on their investment universe but I'm not taking the risk of being out of market.vacheron said:

Ditto. The SIPP I am moving from II contains just one HSBC fund which they offer and also (surprisingly) the Vanguard Lifestrategy funds which are in my ISA are also offered.easysaver said:

I still ticked the box saying do not transfer unless in-specie though like you, just in case there was some subtle technicalities between the funds that I didn't appreciate. If this goes smoothly I will probably be moving one of my other SIPPs too to see how close to that £5K cashback cap I can get!

I'm not sure I want to put all my eggs in the Freetrade basket. Tempting with the cashback and probably quite safe being under the IG Group who are on the verge of the FTSE 100.vacheron said:

I’m looking at transferring to freetrade, I have opened an account on the app following the link for the cash back but once in the app when starting the transfer it doesn’t mention anything about the cash back. Can anyone confirm that this was the same for them and it does get confirmed at the end or in a follow up email? Thanks0

I think the opt-in only appears on Freetrade web version, not app1 -
Thank you, it keeps redirecting me to the app on my phone so I will try on a laptop to stay on the web.0

I could have sworn mutual funds weren't on Freetrade's basic (free price plan) last week, but now it appears that they are?
I am contemplating an in specie from ii. I only own 2 things a) HSBC global strategy dynamic, b) HSBC FTSE all world index.
Does Freetrade support in specie transfer OUT of these 2 funds, for when that time arises?0 -
Thank you both. Once on a laptop it was easy to set up. I have just received an email from vanguard stating that my transfer has been initiated.
