If you keep switching in, then should be no issues.AndyTh_2 said:I've had 2 Fidelity switch bonuses before, also getting my 3rd payout next month (from a Sept-Nov switch offer, from a smaller pot) and 4th in process (from this latest one)
HL I've had 2 S&S ISA and 3 SIPP (1 main pot, 2 small pot) switch offers completed
The question is how long can you keep switching in and out, before you get blackballed.
HL appear to have become more selective who they offer cashback to, with those who have switched in and out again, not being invited.0 -
they didn't send me this existing customer HL offer, but it was only ISA that was switched out before. The SIPP hadn't been moved out after it's first switch. Last year they sent me an existing customer offer, but they also did a standard offer with the same kind of terms sometime later.Albermarle said:

So I would think it's not necessary anyway, if they end up making this offer available sometime in the new year available to everyone.
Either way I'm out for at least 18 months now due to Fidelity's terms. Realistically probably over 2 years due to timing of switch offers0 -
Happy New Year everyone!
Does anyone have a copy of the T&Cs of the CMC Markets SIPP transfer promotion they ran in the first half of last year? I'm normally pretty good at saving them but can't track this one down...
Specifically I have an 'excess' amount in there above what I needed to transfer in for the cashback, and want to know if I'm safe transferring that amount out again before the 1 year cashback payment anniversary...
thanks

Sorry, can't help on the specifics but was wondering what happens generally with thesevoffers if you transfer say just over a 100k threshold of a volatile asset and it falls below 100k at times over the qualifying period, specifically on the end date of the qualifying period?artyboy said:Happy New Year everyone!

I always allow some buffer, but generally, I've found that offer terms make allowance for market movements over the qualifying period.michaels said:

Thanks. And darn... pretty severe term that no transfers out at all allowed within the first 12 months of getting the bonus. Never mind...CRAIGSVILLE1 said:artyboy said:Happy New Year everyone!

I have the same issue so good to have it confirmed that I can't transfer any of the surplus. Freetrade have become even harsher with its recent offer terms in not allowing any of the previously transferred funds to be moved out until the cashback has been paidartyboy said:

Freetrade 2026 Tax year end offer
How does this promotion work?- Open your Freetrade account if you don’t have one yet.
- Contribute at least £10,000 (net) to your ISA and/or SIPP by 5 April 2026. You can either top up your account or transfer in from another provider. Transfers must be initiated by 5 April 2026 in order to qualify, although they may be completed at a later date.
- Depending on which account you are contributing to, join the relevant campaign in your Rewards Hub.
- We’ll pay your 1% cashback by 5 December 2026.
Cashback is capped at £5,000 per account. Any amount you withdraw or transfer out of your SIPP and/or ISA and before receiving cashback will be deducted from the amount you contributed in. This will reduce the amount of cashback you receive respectively.

Rethinking my planned ISA transfer to Barclays as the 1% works out at around the same but with no fee at freetrade as my subscription is already paid up.Altior said:Freetrade 2026 Tax year end offer
