Only thing wrong with CMC is , after receiving the bonus, you have to wait the year before transferring again, which will be approx 6 months after the transfer completes.
Only £25 p.m after the year ends, but you have a free year , like you say 👍0

It is normal with all transfer cashback deals that you have to wait for a period before transferring out again.CRAIGSVILLE1 said:Only thing wrong with CMC is , after receiving the bonus, you have to wait the year before transferring again, which will be approx 6 months after the transfer completes.

Indeed, and getting free platform fees for a year means it's £1000 pure profit plus a saving of £200 on HL's fees, so what's not to like - worth giving them a go to evaluate them at least.Albermarle said:

Although based on my extensive research to date (*ahem* ) I suspect II will be my long term point of consolidation... 0 ) I suspect II will be my long term point of consolidation... 0

            CMC Invest
I want to transfer in specie and hold VHVG. I can't see it on the CMC app - does this mean they don't offer it and would they add it if I asked?0

Good spot - thanks for that. Have just initiated an in-specie transfer to CMC that should bag me a £1,600 bonus.CRAIGSVILLE1 said:Just completed an in-specie sipp transfer from HL to CMC for the bonus.
Date initiated for transfer through CMC app 25/4 , and funds from HL in my CMC account today .!!!!!!
Must be some sort of record for an in-specie transfer ?1

The monthly fees ( £25 SIPP and £10 for ISA only) seem pretty competitive, especially in the light of there being no fees for buying shares , funds etc and no charges for SIPP withdrawals. ( If I have read it correctly) .2

I'd be going for the £1600 level myself, but for the timing - 14th May is the CMC deadline, and the pension I'd really prefer to transfer (from my nemesis Charles Stanley) needs to be held until 28th June for the cash back offer I have with them.bolwin1 said:

I'm trying to think of a cunning way to start the transfer but ensure it's delayed 6 weeks, but it sounds like CMC are pretty quick with in-specie, so I doubt it's worth the risk...0

            CMC Invest - transfer bonus
To anyone who has done this transfer in, how long was it before the bonus was paid? The T and Cs state 10 September as the last possible date, but wondering if they do it sooner? My transfer has completed in less than 2 weeks.0

My last one took 4 months after transfer in, and I was close to the cut off to start the transfer, so I would probably expect it to be closer to the September 10th date.granta said:CMC Invest - transfer bonus

Thanks for the heads up. I was hoping it would be sooner as the 12 month tie in starts from the date you receive the bonus!CRAIGSVILLE1 said:
